Annual Women Build, May 9-12, 2012
Women Build Week celebrates the dedication,
talents and abilities of women from all walks of life through
four days of building with Habitat for Humanity. This year’s
theme is Strong Women, Strong
Communities.
Each day of the event will feature lunchtime speakers including
Habitat homeowners and community leaders who will share their
inspirational and motivational stories about the impact women
have on creating a stronger community.

Wednesday, May 9, from 8:45am to 4:30pm
Thursday, May 10, from 8:45am to 4:30pm
Friday, May 11, from 8:45am to 4:30pm
Saturday, May 12, from 8:45am to 4:00pm
Special Events: Kickoff Event—May 9 at 9:00am
Classes/Workshops—TBD
Closing Ceremony—May 12 at 3:00pm

What: Women from throughout East King County
will help to build affordable housing by signing up for a
volunteer slot, May 9-12, 2012. Building slots will fill up
quickly and are on a first come, first served basis. No
construction experience necessary! Lunch will be provided.
